St. Nick Blend

This one is a first for Karpos Coffee! We are excited to offer a unique holiday blend just in time for the holidays. This coffee blends some of the best fruit forward offerings from Ethiopia and the best spice and chocolate forward coffee from Guatemala. This is one that is sure to pair well with all of your holiday gatherings this Thanksgiving & Christmas!

What's in a name? We appropriately named this coffee the St. Nick Blend, not just because of the perfectly curated holiday blend, but because of the bravery of Bishop Nicholas at the Council of Nicaea. The council gathered at the direction of Roman Emperor Constantine to settle a debate over the divinity of Christ that had the church in division! This became what is now known as the Doctrine of Arianism, named after Bishop Arius of Alexandria. Legend tells us that while he was giving his arguments at the council's convening another bishop by the name of Nicolas stood, marched across the room, and punched Arius right in the face! This same Bishop was known for his generosity and benevolence. This is the St. Nick that the modern day Santa Clause is loosely based off of and we are more than happy to tip our hats to such a vital figure in Christian history! Remember kids:
